When KreativeLuxe was called on to bring vision to life in a Tampa apartment, all we were given was a picture of an emerald green couch! "I'd never in my life seen a couch so green!", said Lead Kreative Director, RJ Stevenson. And green the couch is! Fortunately the green and rose gold pallette was popular for Fall 2019! "We were provided with a fresh canvas," Stevenson stated. "Other than the couch, we were allowed to paint the entire picture from top to bottom! After a few visits to local decor houses HomeGoods, At Home and IKEA, we were well on our way to creating a space with the warmth and feel of home."
Upon entering the home, you're completely drawn in by an open floorplan that flows from the kitchen through the dining space to the living room area. The kitchen being the entryway of the apartment, our designers created a well-lit space by installing led rope lighting above the cabinet space for ambience. An island provides both alternative dining and food preparation space including a built-in sink. Low-profile bar stools were used to create seating options with a minimal footprint.
Across from the kitchen is the guest bedroom suite. A white, leather tufted futon is used for convertible bedding. A desk, cubed storage unit and side table were brought in to create a home office oasis. Rose gold desk accessories give the space a fresh touch of elegance. A white picture ledge with black and white urban-inspired prints provide a focal point for the wall space and a smart TV was mounted on the opposite wall. "We wanted to give the room a retreat feel, but also make it functional for hosting overnight guests. Our team incorporated furniture pieces that made the space ideal for multi-purpose use."
Moving through the kitchen the room expands to a flowing dining room/living room space. The dining space is furnished with an artistic glass table with seating for four, a blue buffet with gold accents, a horizontal mounted mirror, wall art and decor accessories. The emerald green couch draws your attention into the living room. A high-gloss white storage unit with frosted green door insets balances off the green hues with a soft touch. A smartTV and soundbar is wall-mounted above the storage unit for entertainment. Silver, white and green decor accents were added to add a finishing touch!
Crossing the threshold to the master bedroom, you are immediately drawn to the oversized tufted headboard and elevated bed. Storage space was expanded with a custom dresser in the walk-in closet. Additional shelving was installed in the master bathroom and a color palette of blue and yellow decor added just the right pop of color to the space!
